Who does the work?
Our own staff handle most general repairs and maintenance. For specialty trades we bring in vetted contractors from our network, or we manage the contractors you already use. All Root & Ramble staff are licensed and insured.
What maintenance can you take on?
Housekeeping, lawn and landscaping, pool and hot tub care, pest control, snow removal, winterizing, water treatment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and farm or livestock care.
How do I know what is happening at my home?
Every owner gets an online portal showing open repairs, projects, and documents. We also keep a digital record of your home’s systems and appliances, with warranty details and service history, and we inspect the property each season.
Do you handle emergencies?
Yes. We offer on-call emergency service for the homes we care for.
How does billing work?
You receive one consolidated bill each month, with the original vendor invoices attached. Pricing depends on the home and is confirmed after a walkthrough of your property.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Our caretaking agreements are month to month.
